MY TAKES ON WHY AFRICAN TOP 50 MUST REGISTER TO ELFIT 2023

ELFIT 2023 qualifications start in few days and registration close in less than 5.

Year 10 has been awesome, but let’s do the 11th one even better by getting Africa more involved . Yes, Elfit is our international window, and definitely the place where our best potential have to show up. With all my passion for the fitness in Africa, this event is the most empowering competition for the athlete of this continent.    

Why the top 50 and not only semifinal Athletes? Because when you have a look at the three last year of the crossfit leaderboard top 50 is the most representative cluster of the elite. You generally find athletes who have been at least one time in semifinal and genuinely the gap between 21st and 50 rank is not so wide. 

So why they must register:

1. As mentioned above Elfit is the most international competition of the continent receiving athletes, not only from Africa but also from the other continents. This is on line with what semifinal athletes are looking for. The only one spot for the crossfit games make it much harder for African citizen but Elfit is the best « What else » after the end of the season for those calibers who want to experiment more.                                                                            
2. By experimenting more we mean, facing top athletes. Fikowski last year appearance has definitely been a game changer. Battling at this level is a win and learn. Nothing better than evaluating yourself with a games podium level.                                                                                
3. Perfect timing to prepare the next crossfit season: 3 months before the open, you got your assessment of where you are and where you need to go. Facing other African semifinal athletes can give you informations on your future opponents and build a better strategy for the next season. It is also the moment to take your revanche on the quarterfinal or the Renegade Game, camaraderie don’t contradict rivalry.    
4. the venue: outstanding facilities where everything can be tested. 
5. Underdogs Athletics: this podcast talk by itself.                                                                             
6.  Rising year after year the level of the competition: Just because it is the biggest one it is your duty to show up and let peoples from outside of Africa know, there is something else to visit than the pyramids. It is the perfect moment to get more visibility when fitness media such as Morning Chalk Up are there.
7. And the last: I want to meet you all, get better conexion to build something stronger. My African dream is yours and checking a hand will never be replaced by a post!

Egyptian community has demonstrated his love for this sport and the capacity to develop an incontournable event. this platform is perfectly designed to let our best pedigrees to express themselves.
