ELFIT 2023 NO BIG NAME, BUT WHAT A BIG HEART!
The 2023 season has started yesterday and despeat no big names like the past year, the same heart is here. Elfit definitely own the status of high standard competition by itself and the organisation of the season 11th confirm it. The absence of Crossfit license due to the HQ political stand has had no effect, questioning about the need of it.
His International DNA is what is making the week special. Definitely people are coming from all around the world and some new african nationalities are showing up.
The quality and the size of the venue give whatever a competition needs, to grow and build is own identity.
The first day has already left its mark
The horizontal PEGBOARD is back, and some hands already left! the work out ESCAPE PLAN is in all the mouths. Way More challenging than it looks, that tooks lot of athletes down despite early announcement letting them the time to work on it.
The two other elite events including run and swimming have given some space on the top 10 that will be probably shuffle whan the more « classic » work out will be back.
ELITE LEADERBOARD:
After his beautiful performance in 2022, Ruan POTGIETER is Back at it and lead the men field after placing 1st in the ESCAPE PLAN and 2nd in BAYWATCH 11.
